    Draft Procedures

    NOTE: Beginning with the 1951 draft, a reverse lottery will be held to allocate draft picks for the first two rounds.  Otherwise, all rules in Section 7 (Drafts) of the Rulebook apply to the draft. The Procedures listed here are a supplement.

    1. The Draft takes place on the VBG Yahoo Group.

    2. The Draft shall be moderated by Eric Lowder and Darrell Hanson. Other moderators may be appointed by Eric or Darrell if needed.

    3. Each Draft Pick must be made within a 12-hour Draft Pick Window that begins immediately following the preceding draft pick.

    4. If a Draft Pick Window expires, then a Draft Moderator shall post the Draft Pick per a draft list, if a draft list is submitted by the draft pick's owner. If a draft list is not available, the Diamond Mind software's autopick feature shall be used to make the draft pick.

    5. In the case that an invalid Draft Pick is made and the draft continues before the error is noticed, the Commissioner shall use his discretion in handling the situation.
